Monday Oct. 31st HALLOWEEN – The 3rd HDSID Family Friendly Halloween Bash.
Join the HDSID on The Pedestrian Mall for a spOOktacular good time. Live music by Matty Dee, DJ Pastiche will be spinning ghoulishly good tunes, a bounce house, magician, face painting and CANDY, lots and lots of CANDY! 3-6pm on the Newark Ave Pedestrian Mall.

Thursday Nov. 3rd  Third and Vine will host winemaker Darek Trobridge of Old World Winery to discuss traditional wine techniques. Price includes 3 course dinner accompanied by 6 different wines. $80/pp reserve your space 3V Wine tasting dinner 


Saturday Nov. 5th 11am-12pm – Story time at Word Bookstore
 Come hear Beth Ferry read her newest book, Pirate’s Perfect Pet. You will make your own pirate hook and decorate a tiny treasure chest. Word Books is located at 123 Newark Ave Downtown Jersey City.


Sunday Nov. 5th  Fussy Friends is hosting a special one day “Just the Kittens” adoption event from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. 148 Newark Avenue between Grove and Erie Streets in Downtown Jersey City.

A promotion adoption fee of $75, reduced from the regular $125 fee, will be available for the one day only. Standard application, reference and home check will apply.

The 24 kittens, many of whom were found as a result of a summer Trap Neuter Return project in the Lafayette neighborhood of Jersey City, and whose ages range from two to four months old, will all be vaccinated and spayed or neutered.

Fri. Oct.28th – LITM Mad Wonderland Tea Party
Starts at 7pm. A nod to the October art show, “Through the Looking Glass,” which is inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland and its many mad incarnations. Enjoy tea cocktail specials all night, a Wonderland selfie booth and coloring pages. Plus, tarot readings by Antifragile Tarot!
